Just do it. Ansible (in my opinion) is the best automation tool. You can patch 800 servers in few seconds, without break half of your company using some poorly writed script.
And, ansible can do much more than simple run shit over ssh. You can configure entire networks using specific protocols drivers (created by muhh comunity and mainteined by red hat), you can automate shit in windows (never actualy used remote power shell...).
Give a try, you will like the extra time.

Nop. I only use docker for testing stuff (co-workers don't trust new tech until half the clients use it). But yes, ansible offers support. I read something about it...
