any /netsec/ guys around?
If I want to be autistic about the security of my laptop, which one do I get? It doesn't have to be powerful, nor does it have to be recent. Cheap is preferable, but not necessary. I'm talking 100% weapons-grade autism, so anything with chipset microcode that could *theoretically* be exploited is out.
Does such a laptop even exist?
Not a netsec expert but honestly the only way to be perfectly secure is to not use a computer at all. Or to use it while not connected to a network.
>anything with chipset microcode that could *theoretically* be exploited
that pretty much describes the entirety of currently-existing useful software
I'm looking at X series thinkpads, but is 802.11n going to be phased out anytime soon? I do need to be able to connect to wifi.
Forgot to mention, small is preferable (but not necessary).
Thinkpad x60 or nothing. Everything else is literally botnet by the cia

Here's what your thread would look like in /v/:
>I want a cerebral indie puzzle game
>currently looking at Call of Duty

Did you even check the catalog?

yeah, but I used "netsec" instead of "sec". apologies for my laziness.

Isn't that just a stallman meme?
I mean according to this guy:

I'm working on an AI.
How do I make sure it doesn't escape to the Internet?
