I've been offered two positions: One in AI based driver assistance(with Deep Learning) and the other one is Ai in IoT(Internet of Things) and Robotics.
Any of you know anything about the future of these domains? I feel like IoT is an unsecure meme, but the world just seems to go there.
Whatever is more exciting to you, dont waste your youth delaying fun to make money

When I got my first German Shepherd I was told not to train her to replace my weakness of fighting people, I didn't listen and my first was terminated for mauling a kid.
No one ever said, don't programme your robot to protect you from bullies and angry people.
Anything robotics is the future.
Good thing about robots is they can't post on here, the captcha won't let them.

First, Congratulations on your new job.

That's what you want to get into.
IOT is being pushed heavily in the industry but it is heavily influenced by the market and could end up DOA.

i think i am only smart enough for IOT and robots
Do you have strong math skills? Try reading a paper from deep might do and see if the math makes sense to you. I suspect you are only good enough for the IoT meme

Actually I am constantly reading deep learning papers, the ones related to image processing. I just don't know if IoT is more difficult or not. I want to choose the harder one.

First one will get you fired because some idiot drove into a plexi glass wall and your software didn't detect it.
Second one will get you fired because russian hackers make a literal botnet out of certain fridges which happen to run with your software.
Choice is yours.

Plexi glass doesn't look transparent to many sensors.
It only looks transparent to us.

It was an example. Of course it will be more complicated than that, think about the Tesla incident.
People are so stupid, you just can't think of everything, someone WILL find a way..
