I've swapped my i3 3120M with i7 3632QM and now I can't install Intel graphics drivers. If I install the driver with the i3 it works, but if I swap it with the i7 then I get black screen when Windows is loading. Also when I've tried to install them with a fresh system and i7 plugged in I couldn't finish the setup - I've got installer errors and Watchdog Violation BSODs.
Is the chip fucked or am I doing something wrong?
Chinkpad is T430, Win 10. I've tried it with win 7 too and I've got similar results.

Where did you get the cpu from? If pic related it might be the chinks fault. I swapped my i5 3320M for a i7 3630QM and it worked just fine.
Also don't forget to upgrade your cooler. The 35 watt i7s are the same as the 45 watt version except binned for "less house fires TM" but end up being the same amount of house fires for more money

I've got it used from a lenovo Z580. I know about the cooler from dgpu version. I might look for a 45W TDP chip if it turns out this one is fucked. I have a 90W power brick, will it be enough or should I look for a W series power supply?

No the 90w charger is enough
