So this exists now... How do we fix it /g/?
>>
>>59979660
This one is a fucking cunt. I have to make a filter separately for each site that uses this script.

fuck how do you do it? I tried to block the element and it did nothing.
>>
>>59979696
How? Is there a specific filter you downloaded or made?
>also it takes like 5 seconds for the popup to pop up.

is there a system for patching javascript before it's run?
instead of relying on filenames or fixing the 'aftermath' of a script running, would it not make sense to just patch out shit before it gets run?
>>
I saw adnaueam mentioned in the previous thread. Doesn't "liking" everything fuck up useful things like Amazon suggestions?

fuck off

I'm on fucking adblock plus and the site loads with a broken layout instead of the shit OP gets. But that's because I'm not turning on javascript by default except per site.

OP is on Chrome botnet

isnt that basically the same thing?
>>
>>59980662
Chrom[e,ium] are both botnets out of the box. In firefox you're able to turn off the botnet with some addons and a lot of diggin in about:config, in chrome, you can't.
>>
>>59980728
alright so i just downloaded firefox or some version of it, why the fuck isnt the font scaling correctly? its so blurry

mine works on that site and I didn't do anything special. Just using ublock origin
>>
>>59980019
You can turn off javascript in chrome idiot.
>>
I challenge you to visit http://diep.io with an adblocker and have it *not* detect it. You can know if it detected it because once you get in game it gives you an annoying message

You block the script that deletes the content.
>>
>>59979698
There is no element to block.

The adblock detecting javascript actively deletes elements from the webpage when it detects blocking occurring.
>>

Wtf i use UblockO and adblock blocker blocks me dumbass

>>
>>59983349
I guess anti-adblock fags will give up first since there are probably a lot more sane people who are against ads.
>>
>>59980728
Chromium is fully open source and is not a "botnet".
>>
>>59983388
I wouldn't be so sure, especially since the people who are against ads are doing it for free in their free time and/or whatnot and the others are/could be backed by big money. You know, "muh virtual losses" and shit.
>>
>>59983388
Let's see
>Pro ad block
People who use the internet daily for fun
>Anti ad block
People who use the internet for money, and will use that money to creat legislation to preserve it
>>
>>59983455
I doubt they make that shit for free.
Maybe it's a part of a bigger scheme.
>make effective anti-adblock and spread it
>make effective adblocker and sell to normalfags
>>
>>59983412
>Chromium is fully open source and is not a "botnet".

It is a free software, but nevertheless it is a botnet. The free botnet we may call. It download and executes a binary blob.

>>
>>59983551
Gorhill looks to be doing uo for free, the fags from adblock with their ""acceptable ads"" took money for it.
>>
let's clear up some confusion

if you don't block javascript their obfuscated javascript will delete elements from the page if you have an adblocker (read: their ad doesn't load)

if you do block javascript there's still an embedded css animation timebomb that will popup regardless if you have an adblocker (because their obfuscated javascript also removes this timebomb if you don't have an adblocker) - this is literally just a div, you can block the element or parent div id like >>59980059 suggests and it works

this also explains why >>59980059 doesn't work for some people - it works fine if you're not running their javascript

at the end of the day it's just another shitty anti-adblocker that relies on javascript to do the heavy lifting, if you want to block ads but aren't also whitelisting javascript you're only doing yourself a disservice
>>
>>59982669
Could you please do a quick example with getComputedStyle disabling?

For a site it costs them time and energy to to avoid adblockers, for end users they just spend a minute writing a new filter. This is probably why these anti-adblock services are becoming popular. Companies don't actually have the time and energy to do this themselves anymore so they outsource all of it. It's still costing them money though so never let up.
>>
went to the site with ublock and it didnt stop me.
>>
>>59982943
>closing your eyes is illegal since you're circumventing their code
AHAHAHAHAHAHAH
>>
To be fair, sites like TPB would die without ads. So I sometimes turn on ads
>>
>>59982598
Go to custom filter lists
add the following
>Adblock warning removal list
>Anti Adblock Killer
>>
>>59979660
Javascript whitelisting? Hasn't been an issue so far.
>>
>>59979660
We develop a new kind of AI-based adblocker that blocks block blockers.
>>
>>59982943
Blocking the code doesn't count as circumventing it. Can't circumvent something you do not have.
>>
>>59979660
>don't use any ad blockers
>still get pop-ups telling me to stop using an ad blocker

Really makes me think

block it with adblocker :^)
