Only losers with a lot of time on their hands would waste time deciding which mp3 player to use. When they're all the same. If you're on Windows use the default player or Foobar2k and on Linux use VLC or Clementine.

i use it on linux, it's decent, but somehow i couldn't get it to show album covers.

Groove is the only future-prone player for Windows users. While you struggle with your searches for the music you want to get played, I can simply ask Cortana to do it, and she opens it up on Groove on her corner, while I continue with my task.

I've been using "Lollypop" lately.
I was just looking for a GTK music player with a somewhat decent way to view music by album art, as I have too much Japanese shit, and I don't really have another way to identify songs easily.
There is practically no real customisability though, but that's fine; I don't need foobar-tier levels of autism.
>>
>>59994687
Looks fine to me. Foobar on the other hand literally has no reason to have a GUI when it looks like a shitty TUI redone in GTK.

It's just a music player, it doesn't have to do much else besides playing files and managing a library.

I just installed this and it only displays music by tags like phone players.

Are you telling me I have to manually add artist and album information to everything before it can even open files? I can't be fucked parsing my collection through mp3tag and wouldn't know how to tag foreign music and nazi hymns and shit anyway. Can you loading podcasts to play one after another on this.

Your only viable excuse is that you create your own music/songs but don't want to tag them because you are ashamed or just too lazy.
