I'm thinking of getting these headphones, the M50x but I hear the mids are a little iffy. What do you guys use, any recommendations?
I got my M50x's because I needed a pair of closed headphones with decent quality audio that fold up to save space. They suit that job well, but I rarely use them outside of that kind of context

I got a pair 2 days ago and I yeah mids aren't as balanced with the highs and lows and you might think for an over all balanced monitor headphone but it's good for enjoying your music

I don't. I'm already dropping 500 on a FiiO and I know high end headphones can be more than passable within 2-300
