Yeah if they ran on regular 1150 motherboards they'd still be a deal (compared to locked i7 4770) but I'm pretty sure they don't. Good luck finding a reasonably priced Xeon 1150 motherboard now. I don't think OP factored that cost in to his master plan of past savings.
