Sup /g/

I was hoping to use IFTTT (If This Then That) to launch a Deezer Flow playlist or the Spotify equivalent (if it exists) but I can't seem to find any IFTTT actions that would let me do this.

Any of you guys have any ideas?

Also, smartphone automation thread I guess.

IFTTT is a cancer.

They actually encourage their partner companies to only open the API to them and not anybody else.

unfortunate.

do you know of any alternatives which would offer the possibility do to what I'm trying to do?

What I'm trying to do here is quite simple.

I have a Bluetooth speaker in my kitchen, and I like to listen to music from my Smartphone on the speaker while I work in there.

It's a bit cumbersome to have to turn on Bluetooth / pair with the speaker / launch my music app / start playing / turn volume up every time.

So I'd like to buy an Amazon Dash button, stick it wherever, and when I press it, everything I described earlier takes place automatically.

The only roadblock is that you can't just start a web streaming service playlist that easily, it seems.

Bumping for cool Smartphone automation schemes

If you're using Android, I think Tasker can do that. I'm not sure though.

This maybe? It should be very straightforward if you can still access playlists via URI.

ummm...
I'm usually pretty good at googling things, but I can't seem to find any way to use Tasker to launch Deezer Flow or the Spotify alternative...
