You have no idea. They even have rules about what to do if you need to paint things/fill holes in terms of colors and total amount of substance you can use. It is like living in an ocd nightmare.

Well in terms of things on my desk the gun will stay there, the notebook I use for writing all the time, the wooden boxes store random small things that I use or fiddle with when bored, there are the covers for the speakers on the desk, chapstick because I use lots of it. The microphone and wii u stuff I dont really have anywhere I can put easily.

It would be much worse but the computer is sitting on a stack of drawers that a lot of stuff is stored in.

That actually is a good idea and would be helpful, but I couldnt bundle any of the speaker wire with them. I should go to wally world and get some velcro straps for that very purpose today.

I do have a chair with arms, usually my keyboard is pushed in towards the monitor because I put muh coffee cup in front of me then start reading a book while watching something or listening to music.

Frankly, it was just an emergency solution. Originally, the whole thing was glass, but during moving the last time the desktop shattered (after transporting it hundred miles and hauling up three stories I somehow put it down wrong and it shattered right in the hallway to my apartment).
I just went into a hardware store and got a plate and been using that ever since. When I have some time and don't need my machine I plan on doing something, but for now it just werks.
I can only advise people to not get glass desks if you plan on moving to another place EVER.

there are reasons as to why zoning exists, and despite conspiracy theories,it isn't about taxes, its about local politics, specially in the USA.

For some fucked up reason, some people aren't meant to live in society, by this I mean they don't know how to be neighborly or have respect for others. How about all of the sudden your neighbor feels like he can literally have bond fires in his back yard and burn his garbage, why? because fuck you thats why. How about you decide to have dubstep playing on 11 on your PA system at 2AM because fuck your neighbors. How about I start a landfill dump right next to your house.

That is why zoning exists. We didn't even get to issues of lasting permanent pollution.

The reason why taxes may be lower/higher has to do with land valuation, some places are simply more desirable than others, and as such values follow, and taxes are based off of those values.

Like I said, it has mainly to do with local politics.
Then we can get into a plethora of issues. A lot of laws, regulations, building codes have nothing to do with what you deem necessary but what certain industries have also deemed necessary for you to have.

There are literally rules specifying minimum size that a room can be, build smaller than that and it's not up to code. There are rules of what a living space must have by law to be a living space, don't abide by those and you legally can't live there.

I follow you dude you want cheap rent, I do to and I follow a lot of the "small house" movement since the beginning. There was a dude out in Flint, MI and he built himself a tiny house on a trailer, super sweet, he has a blog up if you google it you may find it, detailed construction and shit. He went out to the county and bought himself some land had a barn and everything, he was living in his "trailer", and because its on wheels it is not a structure that the county has any jurisdiction over to deem safe or unsafe so everything was cool.

Except his neighbor didn't like it and he wanted that land for himself, he went to the county and filled a complaint, turns out the county had the power to condemn the trailer as a "dwelling", he said fuck this and left for Oregon with his trailer, and in Oregon they don't give a shit.

It depends on where you live, it depends on your local town and local politics some people feel they have the right to dictate how you should live your life and they will codify it into law.

Making identical displays the exact same is easy. They are in surround mode so the ICC profile applies for all three and each of the three are calibrated in monitor settings to be identical. What you may be noticing is the viewing angles making the side monitors look darker. This isn't noticeable during normal use, only standing 60 degrees off to the side so it's irrelevant really.

The top TV is a full range and different type of LCD display. Two different displays are nearly impossible to make look the same. For that to happen they'd have to have the same brightness output, evenness of illumination, contrast ect ect ect. Therefore it's not possible to have the same color gamut.

At the end of the day the difference you're seeing in the monitors is 80% angle of picture or the fact it's a picture taken and you're not seeing it in person.

There is very little actual discrepancy between the monitors coloring and brightness. It's there but it's hardly anything I worry about because why worry about something I can't change.

Color accuracy across different displays can be pretty closely achieved as long as you don't have two displays of dramatically disparate qualities. Like an IPS and an old tn panel.
