But I've upgraded my 2012 laptop a couple of times, including ram and storage. I'm even planning upgrading display mm now.

Macs are the best laptops and if you disagree you are either a poorfag or a butmad shill. I had all kind of laptops, from old Toshibas to newest chink shit and every one of them except for toshiba would have problems after 2 years. I have my macbook for more than 4 years now and only thing I need to do is replace battery that would die after 2 years on any other notebook. If you want something upgradable and replaceable you go for a PC, otherwise no one cares for some shitty lenovo that breaks down constantly.
