Anyone else leave their PC running, maybe have tabs with flash videos or youtube open, maybe a flash stream (often do this for TV)
And after a while its fucking unusable without restarting the browser?
Despite having plenty memory, even if I close the tabs, it stays fucked. Only solution is closing FF entirely.
Edge does not do this, it can have a tab with a flash video stream running for days and not begin to stutter.
Is this normal?

Using flash is not normal

Believe me I wish it could be avoided. I have flash disabled and only allow it when I have to.

This.

Using flash is degenerate.
Watching porn is degenerate.

Flash video performs better for me in FF than the "html5" implementation with its "fuck it, load it now" attitude.
>don't want videos to start loading
>complete ram hog
If youtube, it's probably the "html5" video that's fucking you over. Use download helper and see.
>goto page with html5 video
>save the video
>almost instant save
>video has already been downloaded and was sitting in ram
also install 'flash control', it blocks html5 and flash videos. You have to click to play them.
>html5 is worse than the old swf days
>you didn't have to install flash
>you've got no choice now
>Firefox
>having plenty of memory
Choose one

my memory never gets full, so I know its not that, unless FF itself cannot handle over a certain amt of memory for some reason.
(I have 16GB)
also e10 enabled, which did alleviate this issue, it used to happen more quickly.

It's not your fault.
>>59951061
YouTube uses HTML5, not flash. Flash is a major security risk, uninstall it and avoid sites featuring it. If you watch porn, use a modern website. Retard.
