>>
Looks more like a piece of evidence against SLI than against a processors.
I mean look at that garbage, your average frame rate spikes so you think it's running faster, but the average frame times barely decrease at all,

Like I keep telling people, async frame rendering (as used in all DX11 and below), is like a double barrelled shotgun. You fire from one barrel, and then the next almost at the same time (or at the same time), then you wait for the reload. Consider each shot a delivered frame.

The big problem is user input- the second card can't predict what input the user is going to put in and then extrapolate out the entire application to render that frame before it was even asked to be rendered.

The only solution is to render a single frame faster, and SLI/crossfire CANNOT do this.
>>

The lower performance for AMD chips was confirmed to be due to NVidia drivers
>>
The 1800X has no meaning in gaming when the 1600 exists.

For productivity it's a beast though, but you always end up paying through the ass for flagships
>>
>>59951229
no it wasn't.
1060+ryzen actually performs better than 480+ryzen and 1060+intel in a bunch of games.

That's just wrong.

Now please tell me the 6900k did worse in gaming than a 1800X when this review was made 20 days ago.
>>
>>59951425
There's nothing to argue here, the 6900k is close to the 7700k's performance in games unless you count ARMA and Fallout, the stock 1060 is slightly faster than a 480 too, so by all accounts the 6900k system should be faster, but it's slower, and not 1% slower.

Oh so it is actually a thing.

I remember when I was a kid playing cs1.6 on an intel pentium 4 board I used to get such stutters.
These things occured randomly but most of the time happened at the start of the round when someone popped in on my screen and started shooting at me.
By the time the stutter was "done" I was already dead most of the time.

Since I had no other explanation for it I convinced myself I'm just bad at this game and my brain "shuts off" for a split second everytime something's happening due to some weird information overload or something lol.

so 0,03 seconds at 59 fps instead of 60 fps is stuttering?

AMDrones really grasping at straws here

Don't go full retard.

The 1060 has driver problems with DX12 and not only exclusive with AMD, but also with Intel.

Rocket League would be the most prominent example, other than that the 1060 runs faster with both Intel and AMD CPUs than with a RX480.

I mean, my R9 290X gets 50fps on CQL 1440p ultra settings. Has AMD not advanced since the 290X?

Does it though? Or are you a complete retard instead? Ryzen doesn't do 4.8. It maxes out at around 4.1 and the 7700K overclock of 4.8 is also achievable without delidding. It's comparing two of the highest overclocks available for each CPU.

If you actually did think, you'd know that b

that makes me wonder. I am new to pc's and the one thing I was looking into before I purchased a motherboard was how many power phases the board had. I wanted as many as possible with quality parts since the way I understood it, the more Phases there are the more stable the overclock is and the less burden is placed on each mosfet as they share the load and run cooler, reducing the likelihood of a housefire

And now that i see people buying cheapo Ryzen Motherboards to overclock their Ryzen CPUs... arent they over hyping the price component as they are buying Inferior quality motherboards.

How can Intel ever recover?
>>
>most expensive and mid range CPU have 1 fps margin
DEAD
>>
>>59955074
No, but Ryzen can do 4.1 out of the box, and the 7700k flops at stock, which is what 90% of it's buyers will be running at. Use your fucking head.
>>
>>59955208
basically amd aren't being jews and let the b350 have overclocking.

if it was intel, oc would be only possible on x370 boards and only ryzen x cpu would have unlocked multipliers
>>
>>59950094
I bet they used some slow shit RAM to gimp Ryzen.
>>
>>59955208
Because of a combination of ryzen being very power efficient and having a very limited head room for oc you can reach the OC limit of a cup with modest power delivery configs. A x370 may have the power delivery to put out 200A draw but you'd never utilize it in non competition settings
>>
>>59955417
i probably presented my thought ineffectively.

on an Intel Platform if I want to save money the non Z or X motherboards can easily be picked up for under 100usd. If overclocking doesnt interest you, the number of power phases really doesnt matter.

But if you plan to overclock it matters. And I am personally unsure of the Quality of the Ryzen Boards selling for the same price as the NonOverlcoking Intel Boards, since they are likely using similar components and might not be great for overclocking.

If this analogy works, the Tires of a Race car = Power Phases & Quality of Components, and Engine = GPU & CPU. If you plan to push your engine to the limit and go over 200mph, you better make sure your Tires are Rated for that Speed. If they arent, they will fall apart.

i wonder if AMDs Inexpensive Overclocking motherboards are going to be pushed to hard by XFR or User Overclocks shortening the Life of the motherboard and forcing the user to make Additional purchases to replace failed hardware because they didnt spend the time to buy Quality parts to start with. Spending more in the Long run than Intel Users....
