Ok, /g/ ... I finished developing an application for my job. But today minutes before leaving we had a huge argument about sending parameters to the app. What I need is just an ID, and the flag --Lite. The guy I'm having the argument with wants to send me two strings:
123/2017 => File number
This is a test => Name of the file
I was thinking about executing my program like this:
myProgram.exe 6789 123/2017 |This is a test| --Lite
And the guy wants something like this:
myProgram.exe |789|123/2017|This is a test|Lite|
Given your experience, what would be the best way to send parameters to the app?
Thanks!

Don't use the bar symbol | to quote the filename, just use quotes.
>>59946903
Made a mistake: It's a random string not the file's name.
>>59946913
well, still don't use bar
>>59946927
If I understand correctly ...
myProgram.exe 6789 123/2017 "This is a test" --Lite
would be a better solution, right?

What does lite do? Probably your way
PROMOTIONS
>>59946955
--Lite is a flag. Basically, "load the lite version"
>>59946981
Your's hands down
PROMOTIONS
myprogram.exe --port=6789 --day=123 --year=2017 --env=Lite "This is a test"
