do a better job than they do with their gratis services like gdocs, gmail, maps, search engine, and whatever else they have

people don't give a shit about ideologies and indirect hostility like selling your data if their shit just werks and yours doesn't

It's simple. We kill the poo.

DeepMind is MUCH ahead in the AI game
There's NO way to stop them now
Google will create skyNet

>>59942117
We kill the internet.
>>
>>59942117
Teach people how to use search engines inside the websites that holds the information they seek. For example:

Instead of typing "graphic cards wikipedia" on google, just type wikipedia.com to the link bar and type "graphic cards" to the built in search engine of wikipedia.

This is how you fight.
>>
>>59942609
if only all websites had a search function on par with wikipedia's. Many of them are complete shit, and every single website that uses tagged content has mistagged tons of shit or uses retarded/too few/too many tags.
>>
Stop buying things.

Advertising doesn't work if you don't buy things.
>>
>>59942638
Aahh, advertisements. Those things I haven't seen in my daily browsing for years? Yeah I remember those vaguely...

good fucking riddance, I haven't had to put up with ads in ages
>>
By seizing control for the people
>>
>>59942609
Yeah, not going to do that. Twice as many mouse movements and twice as many pages to load.
>>
>>59942633
I personally use the built in search engines of the websites I use, daily. Basically these websites are not regulated by companies those worth billions so of course you can't search conplete sentences. The key to reach the information or data you seek is typing in the most relevant keywords in the search bar. Not using too many words also helps.

>>59942609
And besides, how do I know which website holds the information I want?
>inb4 jewjewgo and shit
>>
>>59942744
Tell me what kind of information do you want to find and I can immediately name a generic, widely known website which holds the information you seek.
>>
>>59942729
You missed my point that no matter how well you try to search, some websites are just inherently shit, developed by apes, and will never have a search function that works at all

>>
>>59942804
>it
I know what fucking keywords are and how to properly search, you ape. Reading comprehension, do you have it?

Some websites are shit, programmed by utter idiots, and put together so badly their search engine is literally objectively defunct and they're too fucking stupid to fix it.
>>
>>59942763
Cit from my last google searches
>why is $BASH_VERSION empty while bash runs my login
>phone number <local pizzeria>
><description of website I can't remember the name of>

Don't google the first, and don't waste your time on so
>>
>>59942847
Also many search functions on sites that do work have pitfalls, or unnoticeable flaws, or the content itself is miscategorized so you think it's working and then find out eons later it was pulling your leg and giving you incomplete results.
>>
>>59942847
Far from topic insult and repetitive statements indicates that you are triggered (just gave me a little smirk). You may conveniently use search engines. But don't come up to to /g/, completely butt devastated about the fact that your interviewer questioned you about the "loli anime fetish porno" you have searched 3 years ago.
>>
>>59942933
>repetitive statements
having to repeat my point because you keep handwaving it away with an unrelated non-counterpoint does not make it wrong

I will rarely use a site's own search function because while most are good, some are inherently defunct shit that give you incomplete results and whatnot. I rather just use google which always works in my experience than trust that whatever search function website x has is a good one and hope not to have to find out afterwards I was being misled. Prevention > cure
>>
>>59942933
> "loli anime fetish porno" you have searched 3 years ago.
>what is projection
>>
>>59943040
Projecting the general 4chan populate to the of its' users makes sense actually. You can go to /b/ and search for the "loli thread" if it doesn't come up on the first page. In that moment, you will realize that this website is filled with pedophiles and the whole "Anonymous" thing kickstarted from there.

It's too late, they've already branched out from their core business. The only thing that can kill Google now is a PR disaster or a shift away from the current situation so radical that they can't keep up with it.
