What's with those warm temps? My i7-7700k rig runs at half that temp.
>>59931668
Well op's is a laptop so that isn't too bad.
Still not sure if I should get a E6550 or stay with the E5200.

The VRM temp is because I have a Watercooler and there's no airflow over the VRM's, which is fine because the CHVI has an 8-phase VCore and it's not even in 3rd gear.
The GPU temp is warm because the fans are off.

Not that again... Not only this processor, 2 GB of RAM... You should immediately activate ReadyBoost while you order more RAM. If you are lucky you get 4x1 GB for free.

Monitor clocked to 71Hz.
Card to 2070Mhz.
Need to sort out better cooling for the mobo before clocking the CPU. I'm not liking what I'm seeing.

Wow where are you? That's some cool cpu tempts.
Rate my housefire. The top of the keyboard literally burns when you touch it after playing gta v for like 30 minutes.
>>59938430
how hot does it get?
suppppp
>>59938525
CPU gets to 95C on stock clocks and voltages super quick and then it throttles. I have undervolted it by 70mv and disabled turbo and now it doesn't go above 75ish. Games runs mostly the same.
Gpu gets to high 70s sometimes but doesnt throttle. I don't know how hot the keybaord gets exactly but the F keys are pretty hot and the top the chassis is almost too hot to touch.
The issue is that its a very thin laptop for what is has in it. Which is good and bad. I needed a powerful laptop for photo and video editing at school. i didn't have money for a powerful ultrabook and I didn't want a huge gaming laptop so this is the best compromise. I only paid $1000 Canadian for it
You can see in the picture at the top where the power button is, those are fan vents, not speakers and those get super hot.
