What is lightest win 7, 8 or 10

7, because is the smallest number. Higher numbers mean more windows.

Diskspace is about the same; but each is a couple GB more than the last. I think you can strip down 7 to basically an Embedded version.

Speed wise, 10 actually wins on newer CPU/hardware. So lightweight by virtue of responsiveness is equal to 7 or better.

I used to get better performance from 8.1 than 7 on my old laptop. My newer one and my desktop definitely get much better performance from 10, but their specs are far beyond what is required by windows and its not really light at all.
