I use Linux on my desktop at work, and macOS on my laptop at home.

It's a hell of a lot more convenient to use Linux for work, than having to manage a gorrillean remote installs

The Linux kernel doesn't care whether it runs on a "server" or "desktop" buzzword.

All "desktop" OSs out these days are scaled back server OSs.

It was "meant" as a Windows replacement aka desktop OS from the start.

Phew, luckily I use it as a display server and I also have a sound server running on it.
