HEllo im looking to buy a laptop in the range of around £300-350.
The use of the laptop wil be for this in order
>general web browsing
>pdf reading
>films
>Games-nothing high end more like point and click steam games, puzzle and strategy games
Thats the main reason I want a laptop over tablet as well.
>I also wanted to learn some programing and ethical hacking
Now I have been browsing about and have found this little deal what do you think on it ?
>Asus X553SA 15.6" Intel Pentium N3700 1.6GHz 8GB 1TB
£259.97 down from £377

Can you wait 6 month's? Or do you need it now?
Kabylake-g and AMD Raven Ridge mobile APUs will be announced and on the market by then.

you'll have troubles running any games that need a gpu > geforce 8600 on that. otherwise: way overpriced for the hardware.

No i need one now as ive only really got my phone for the internet and a shitty kobo.

honestly, no idea. but the laptop you posted is really overpriced. if you don't need to run any games that require a gpu > geforce 8600: most netbooks would fit your price range and come with the same hardware for the same price _new_

Upgraded to the boots Thinkpad T520
ok so ive found these two.
>Acer Aspire ES1-571 15.6" Intel Celeron 2957U 1.4GHz 4GB 1TB Windows 10 Laptop
£219.97
Now that looks like it would have the min requirements for most games and im guessing programs I would probably use
But then for an extra £50 they have this
>HP Pavilion 15-ab150sa 15.6" AMD A8-7410 2.2GHz 8GB 2TB Windows 10 Laptop
> £304.97
Im really thinking of getting the second one unless you think that is overpriced as well.
Don't bother, just go to a thrift store and look at framed stock pictures because that's what point-and-clicks are. they're less games and less entertaining than watching a youtube video, unless shitty inconsistent logic is your thing

only bad thing I can see about the second one though is no hdmi port
