JS cannot be fixed. You should create sites without JS.
Whole TOR works without JavaScript including social media, various shops, Bitcoin casinos, GitHublikes etc.
I2P control panel uses no JavaScript with apps like torrent and email clients.
Freenet with really advanced forums, social media and WebOfTrust system works without JavaScript.

JavaScript is useless in 99% of cases.
