I need a laptop for university, don't know what CPU is needed these days. I really just need it to run YouTube, Facebook and other normieshit. I'd also like it to run normie games like Sims 4.
What CPU is good enough for this?
i5 Skylake with GTX 940M

Any Chromebook or Atom netbook does what you wrote.

Buy something like the xiaomi laptop, all you'll want is battery life, a good screen and a decent body (design/build quality).
OP pic is good but high price tag
Just bought this, hope this will last long enough
I'm looking at the Aspire E5-575G
Core i3-6006U
GeForce 940MX
8GB DDR4
256GB SSD + 1TB HDD
nice thin design, good selection of ports, long battery life
basically trying to see why I shouldn't pull the trigger

I use an Asus ux305f.
It is very slim and it doesn't cost a lot.
Also, it is completely fanless, which makes it near silent with it's intel M-5Y10c (4 cores @ 0.8Ghz).
It does most mundane tasks, but the SSD is small and there is no backlight on the keyboard.
it just won't work as a gayming machine though.
(Civ, stardew valley, CS 1.6, etc. will work fine)
