Keyboard you mean?
>>59893183
I've been using a priv for about 3 months and my only complaint is that it's buggy sometimes
Also the camera does not work right in snapchat
It's a decent phone. The blackberry apps crash a lot though.
>>59893201
At least RIM tried to compete, unlike Micro$oft and Windows Phone.

Android.
>>59893183
>unrootable
>unTWRPable
>>59893736
Those are pros, this isn't a phone for you little autists to spend all day ricing.
>physical keyboard
That thing has a stigma among most people nowadays. If you're seen with one many people might consider you old timey.
>>59893760
I want it rooted so I can improve security by adding a firewall to stop all RIM and Google botnet also to block ads
>>59893765
I've actually had quite a few people see my phone and start talking about how they miss their BlackBerries and physical keyboards. The issue isn't that nobody wants them, it's that practically nobody makes them anymore.
>>59893784
*BlackBerry
>>59893228
i asked my friend with iq 96, he is smart around here, he said that op could probabli mean the keyboard, but he is not entirely sure
>>59893385
>the bare minimum use case and nothing more is acceptable
Pajeet detected.
>>59893838
It's a business phone for business professionals who need a real keyboard, real email, and an overall powerful communicator. Not for 16 year old girls who want to send selfies to horny teens on Instagram.
The price
>>59893183
same specs as my Nexus 5x at twice the price.
>>59893904
It's $300
>>59893927
Your piece of shit has a touchscreen keyboard
>high price
>Bad camera
>Build quality subpar
>Badly marketed
>Looks ugly
>Shit battery
>Snapdragon 808
>>59893945
What's wrong with touchscreens?
>nothing
>>59893962
They suck ass
>>59893976
But touchscreen keyboards can change into different formats while physical ones are stuck with how they're manufactured.
>>59894005
I don't need anything more than QWERTY
>>59894061
Not everyone speaks English as a primary language anon, plus, emojis.
>>59894082
I never said they do. Maybe you need to settle for a touchscreen keyboard, but for those who don't physical ones are objectively superior.
>emojis
kek, if you can't express yourself with words then you have bigger issues.
>>59894082
>plus, emojis.
>>59894109
>>59894114
Emojis are needed to express emotions and sarcasm.
I wanted it but Verizon had a great offer on the Droid Turbo 2 so I got that isntead.
Seems the price is what killed it.
>>59894126
>Emojis are needed
Like I said, if you can't express yourself with words then you have bigger issues.
>>59894126
Emoticons can do that too.
>>59894146
But what if I want my multicultural, racially inclusive messages?
>>59893183
they made the wrong kind of slider.
>>59894175
Portrait keyboard's the only way to go.
>>59893893
That doesn't mean it shouldn't be functional in other uses. Unlike that guy I don't even use Snapchat, but most people don't want to carry two phones with them Pajeet. If that was the mentality of the developers of that phone, there is no way I could trust its general reliability even for business use.
>>59893183
They continued to fail to realise that normies don't give a fuck about a physical keyboard and those who do are just an extremely loud, tiny minority.
>>59893183
>secure, privacy-focused
>non-free closed sourced variant of a secure GPL system
With CopperheadOS out there's literally no reason to use Blackberry anymore
>>59894082
actually that is a great point, I was looking at them because of the keyboard, but I just realized I wouldn't be able to switch between english german and russian as easily.
>>59895058
What phones support Copperhead?
>>59895058
>turn around for a minute
>unsheathes your recovery menu
>Psssh… nothing personnel kid…
>>59893784
No Root Firewall + My moms VPN
>>59894847
I still think it's advertising. Most people I know thought BlackBerry died years ago before I got mine.
>>59895058
What phones have both a physical keyboard and CopperheadOS support?
>>59893893
Snapchat being used only for nudes is a meme
quite a few millenials actually communicate their life this way
there was an article in TIME i think, and my little brother proves anecdotal evidence
>>59893183
Still want it
>maybe gonna get it
>>59893183
>locked bootloader
>not landscape keyboard
Ive had my berry for 5 yrs. Bought it used. Android crashed to much and they wanted an account for everything. Rim has always been secyrity focused please you coukd tether for free. That literal covered the cost of 3 phones.
Im getting a bew blackberry leap but I dont know about punk ass android.
>>59893784
Rim has never had a botnet issue, shill.
>>59896540
Are you drunk?
>no just a giant using a blackberry keyboard
But I agree, dick still diamonds for the priv, punk ass or not.
>>59895246
Only a few Nexus'
>>59896243
>landscape keyboard
why do you hate people that goes outside and does other things with their other hand?
>>59893385
It's the only phone on the market with both an acceptable cpu and a physical keyboard.
>>59898448
KEYone'll be out soon
>>59893183
>>59898474
Those are too top heavy while typing.
BB classic or passport is acceptable
>>59898529
How would the Priv be top heavy? The screen slides up but the rest of the phone (most of the weight) stays in your hand(s)).
>>59898529
>>59898639
Also the Q10 is a very good choice as well.
>>59893794
>The issue isn't that nobody wants them, it's that practically nobody makes them anymore.
The language issue just makes virtual keyboard a much better proposition. Until a lit e-ink keyboard is developed, a manufacturer has a hard time justifying it.
>>59899280
>Until a lit e-ink keyboard is developed
Welcome to 2010. Besides, pretty sure most people primarily communicate in one language, you're talking about a fringe issue.
