How common is it for companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, etc. to hire someone without a university degree in CS? I know you can get a programming job without a degree, but can you get one working for one of these big tech companies?
extremely uncommon because top of the line companies could hire nobody but MIT grads if they so chose
Are you ridiculously talented?

If your resume doesn't list a bachelors degree it won't even make it past the sorting algorithm that discards it automatically.

Probably not
Any tech savvy teenager can make phone apps. Not impressive unless your app does some amazing shit or made a fuckton of money
Only way you gonna get in without degree is if you have connections who will hook you up. Very unlikely
