How do you read your books /g/?
On my phone like everyone else I guess.
Phone. Google text to speech is good enough that I can just listen to non-fiction like it's an audiobook.
On an e-ink Nook if I can download the book for free. If I can't, I suck it up and get a hard copy from the library or elsewhere.

With a regular book. I suppose I could get myself a quality e-reader, but I spend enough time staring at a screen anyway. Physical books just feel nice.

I have one, it's still straining, text is too small, battery life isn't nearly as good as an ereader, and it doesn't look as good with the "paper-like" background of an e-ink reader, also fewer distractions and they're cheap AF

Sorry you have defective eyes. I read on my J7 for hours with no eyestrain. Though I did get that with my iPhone 6 plus.
>text is too small
You can change font size, type, and even color
>*and it doesn't look as dogshit with the "cum-like" background of an e-ink reader

>also fewer distractions
Are you really that autistic?
>they're cheap AF
Because they're dogshit

I usually try to find used books but sometimes every now and then I'll read something on my tablet when I don't have access to hardcopies or if there is a deal. Right now I'm reading the Buss translation of Monte Cristo unabridged that I bought from the botnet store with a botnet bucks gift card that I got for Christmas. It's p good.

E-ink readers are superior for long form reading in every way

>E-ink readers are superior for long form reading in every way
Only in battery life.
And even then why does it even matter when AMOLED phones are able to 60% in 30 minutes?
I use fbreader on my burner android cell, I use black background and yellow-orange bold sans text at a relatively large size.
It works great, you only read half a page for every tap, but tapping is easy.
I've read hundreds of book like this, bretty gud.
If it's comics or pdfs I use this reader I can't remember the name of on my tablet. Also bretty gud.

Sorry you need a huge 100" tablet to read your shitty third rate novel with your super defective eyes
>>less eye strain
This is true on IPS/TFT displays not on AMOLED. Prove otherwise.
protip: you can't
>>way better in direct sunlight
Only slightly, I can still read books in direct sunlight with my J7 at 50% brightness.
