I was afraid that the text/screen gets blurry at that size and resolution, but honestly it's just a hair less sharper than my 24 inch 1080p. Everything looks a bit zoomed in tho. Like all the icons bigger

There is a minor IPS glow on the bottom left corner but it's hardly noticeable unless the screen is pitch black

It was the best keyboard for me due to it having a traditional keycap size so I don't have to deal with any fuckiness there, had media controls, and blue switches. The only thing that I have slight regrets about is that it isn't backlit which isn't that big of a deal anyways. Thank you though for the comment on the keycaps.

I'm redoing all of the walls, adding a false floor and carpeting, finished the stairs with a wall and door. Plans are basically to make a small lounge and dual desktop setup with enough seats for 8 people. New desks, couch, tables, rigs and everything.

Has anyone else tried planning out their future battlestations on home/room design software? If so, I'm curious to see people's designs, as well as hear any tips/recommendations on how to do this more effectively.

Here's my mock-up of what I'd want when I have the money. I've been using sweethome3d because of muh freedoms. I'd recommend it to others wanting to see how things will look before investing.

All of it is to scale with real-world products, except from the table holding up the pc - unfortunately I'm yet to find something of similar dimensions.

In any case I'd go ASrock B350 Fatal1ty K4 or Pro 4, $100 has 6 sata ports, and best in class power delivery, I can go up to 3.9ghz on my R7 1700, not sure why it's unstable sometimes though

Also you're going to want Samsung B-die for memory if at all possible, fairly expensive, but you'll get the most from Ryzen with it

did manage to break 1700 in cinebench in any case, my RAM is running at 2133mhz CL11

Have you ever put your ear to one of the back speakers in a surround sound system? having it in front of you literally right next to the main front speakers would be very disorienting.

When i first set up my 5.1 entertainment room I put the back two at ear level at the edges of the couch, and it was very disorienting and distracting, so I hung them from the ceiling just a little higher up and that fixed it. Not the most elegant solution but my point stands
