>be me
>go on ebay
>see 5 somewhat old laptops in an auction
>seller states he doesn't know anything about computers and therefore has no idea if the laptops work
>take the risk, buy them anyway for 20 bucks
>the laptops arrive
>i test them all
>...
>they're all broken
What now, /g/? Can I do anything with them or should I just throw them in the bin?
They either have severe graphical glitches, the screen just stays black or it doesn't turn on at all.
None of them have hard drives in them.

>no hard drive
>boots up
pick one
try putting a hard drive into one, try pluggin them in while testing, maybe consider taking them to a repair shop or Geek Squad, because you're retarded

Try to pull the gold gold out of them maybe you can make the $20 back

Where did I state that they boot up? Are you able to read?
The furthest I've gotten on one of them is to the POST screen, but that one has severe graphical glitches and lines going across the screen.

>>seller states he doesn't know anything about computers
you are mentally challenged.
my great grandmother can test a fucking laptop

If you connect a vga monitor to them, are the glitches still there?

turn them into servers, so you don't need the built in display
