Hi,
I have an XPS 13 with a newer i7 and 8 GB of RAM, but it seems to run really slow when I have a few programs open eg. If I have Chrome, Spotify and Hearthstone open, browsing the web is really slow. Is this because it's running at 3200x1800? I don't have any viruses/background programs working. Would using a different browser help?

My Core M Macbook with much weaker hardware and similar resolution (that the OS renders at double the pixels) runs perfectly smooth, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Either OPs shit is fucked up on the hardware side, or the software side (What makes you think you don't have any malware?) or it's just Winshit and Chrome being shit.

I had to return my XPS13 QHD. It ran like crap and overheated as you stated OP.
Get a 1080p laptop instead.
