Remember when /g/ pwned tens of thousands of Asia routers? What's the update on router security?
Are most home routers easily pwned using scripts? I've looked into PFSENSE and Sophos UTM but is it really necessary?

Goofed sorry :(
Bumpu
Some idiots make their routers accessible via internet. Usually they have ddos and bruteforce protection off or non existant so it's highly likely. Scan ip, check router known ports, ping router addresses.

I'm curious as to how vulnerable some of these router mods are, like tomato and ddwrt

Good job, you DDOSed a random person, so what?
router vendors should be sued for each vulnerability

No one would ship with software and instead would force the process of installing firmware into the user.
>b-but who will I sue?
You won't. And things will be just as bad.

Awesome. That means mmc will be in rw mode and it will be possible to write something more sane than vendor firmware.
