Now that Ryzen 5 is out and intel is dead, will nvidia start making cpus to compete with Amd?
>>59848566
Novidia doesn't have balls to
>>59848566
Novideo's JHH has spent some 12 years to get the x86 license out of Intel, they told him to fuck off.
Now he's left making overheating phone SoCs with 2006 performance

Why not get the x64 licence off amd, or make a completely new architecture?
>>59848862
Because AMD64 is an extension to Intel's x86 architecture, by itself it does nothing.
Why are you even on this board? This is basic knowledge
>>59848883
Arm is the future anyway
>>59848862
making arm for desktop is easier.
>>59848883
this is blatantly false. im not sure how nobody called you out yet.
>>59848566
Vega will squish Nvidia's nuts.
>>59848566
They do, Denver
>>59848755
Anyone can make x86 processors, the problem is the additional instruction sets.
>>59848862
They could get an x64 license if AMD let them, but I doubt they will. They DID make a new architecture, Denver has an implementation of Transmetas code morphing tech and was designed from the start to run both x64 and ARM code.
