This is a thread to share with other /g/ lurkers and posters what little gemstones you've found over the years that improves your computer's quality of life.
Feel free to share such obvious ones like CCleaner and other not so obvious ones like Diskeeper!
I guess I'll start toe ball rolling... Honeyview - Can read just about any picture format, even obscure ones.

Shameless bump for software posts

>Needing extra bloat to remove the bloat that came with your Windows computer
Mandatory sage & install gentoo.

You're missing the point of this thread senpai.
>>59844907
What point? That you want to bloat your Windows OS even more?
>>59844966
Thanks for confirming that you don't.

Seeing how OP & I are the only 2 posters & how this thread's down to page 7, I'm just gonna sage while I tell OP that nobody else sees the point of his verbal diarrhea.
May the butthurt flow through you, OP.

Nope.
Everything.

I posted many times in yesterday's thread, only watch as the thread died prematurely. the whole point of having a software thread is finding and using new/better tools that you didn't even know where available. I do feel that a list like this would better serve the community if it were added to the /g/ wiki, which seems a bit stale.
for what it's worth:
>USBIP
USB-IP is a command line utility for both windows and Lin/GNU/x that will allow one to access USB connected devices from a host machine via TCP/IP.

Finally, someone who gets it and agrees. I don't see why this isn't a thread where we share our gemstones of software and better peoples' computing experiences.
>>59846433
Because USB-IP still doesn't have any practical use, OP.
Nor does any other program.

Eh... I'm on the IRC belonging to the wiki's owners. They couldn't give half a shit about software recommendations for any OS. It's just one of those things you do yourself & share only if it has a practical use.
What is already listed on the wiki is priddy gud:
https://wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php/List_of_recommended_Windows_software
I would also add PuTTY and a lot of the sw that can be installed under Cygwin.
Also https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/ has been good to me.
And if you didn't already know about it, a good site for finding sw alternatives is
