How is deluge bloated? It's minimalist by design, you fucktard buzzword spouter.
>>
>>59837473
>How is deluge bloated?
It uses far more resources than most other torrent clients with nothing more to show for that resource usage. It's a program that does nothing actively other than downloading and uploading data, it doesn't need to use upwards of 1GB of RAM to do something as simple as that.

FreeCAD

I use them in my company. Admittedly my company already transitioned to solidworks but that's because we're already in a larger supply chain and everything needed some kind of standardization but when we were still a startup company, we use plenty of free softwares (because I'm cheap) and FreeCAD is what we're use to design plenty of aftermarket shit

Good luck unpacking decade old rars with 7zip without crc errors

Huhh, so FreeCAD is used by actual engineers? Is that ready for that? I like it because it's free and sometimes I want to open 3D models of electronic parts. Is it comparable to the commercial CAD programs.
>>
>>59837470
source - my ass
>>
>>59838848
Well yes. Granted it couldn't be used to make complicated stuff, but it is well suited for stuff like, for example, replacement keys for some outdated (but still in use) computers and game console
>>
>>59839931
I forgot to add; the main challenge for FreeCAD (at least when we used them couple years ago) is the library. I had to hire a programmer to expand the library (some of them we've already uploaded online).

While Solidworks is our go-to CAD software currently, we're still using FreeCAD when it's an independent, small project that doesn't involve any other people in the supply chain. The library is so comprehensive right now I can say that we can basically build another CAD software (based on FreeCAD) and sell it.

>>59854970
That may be true, but it's still Merkel's fault for bringing in millions upon millions of "refugees" into the Western nations of the EU and causing multiple attacks on the populace and the widespread social alienation of the common man. It's like the Germans don't know how to operate in the middle: either they go full autist one way or another. Either way, it literally causes Europe to be torn asunder.

It isn't practical to run it 100% free but that is due to drivers and firmwares. Other than that it is just as open source as GNU/Linux; many "distributions" aren't 100% open source, some aim to be, some are very close.
