Just curious If I wanted to get a file out of a website that has known malware on it, how should I go about this?
I was thinking about using a virtual machine , mostly because I don't want to ruin my system, but also wondering what are some good tools for checking sites with malware on them so that I know what I'm getting into? Is something like malwarebytes my best bet?

Look up sandboxing or get the file from some other known good source.

Don't download anything stupid.

I know not do download anything but just visiting a site with this warning worries me.

This is the only sourse I can get it from so I'll see what sandboxing is and if it can help

Disable Javascript ya dummy

Just grab it from inside a VM. Anything will do really. What is it? I'll get it. If it's from the link in your pic it redirects to adfly.

Wew lad I had no idea you could do that, I'll definitely have to learn more about virtual machines. Never really used them but that seems pretty neat. Thanks anon

Yeah, except you can still get malware through VMs and sandboxes.

Then how to avoid it? I thought you couldn't get Malware or viruses through VMs?

impossible to completely avoid it.
the likelihood of some shitty pajeet malware getting through a vm is prob highly unlikely though.

Thanks anon, I'll be using a VM then to get the file from the website.
