No, even back then apple was fucking shit quality wise. Pic related is better since it's built to last and to be actually comfortable to use, not as a fashion accessory

I'm completely serious, if you google you will find that every apple laptop has had some sort of electric component problem that was due to degrading components
Business notebooks don't have such problems (except some broken GPUs because >nvidia)
