I tried Manjaro w/ the default xfce and I think it's a lovely OS.
It's user friendly, bleeding edge, and nice, but Pacman can suck my nuts.
Can u give tell me which debian-based OS is as nice as manjaro?

none i use KDE ITS AMAZING. just pacman is shit tbh
Whats up with pacman? Most people who really know what they're doing actually admit that its the best package manager around.
>>59819649
good point, I'm worried some packages are not in pacman, IE ungoogled chromium

I've only used Antergos, but from what I remember it wasn't really any better or worse than apt-get, at least from a casual user standpoint. I can see why having an insane amount of packages all in repositories for your specific distro would be convenient as hell, though, since pretty much anything you can think of would probably be half a second away on Arch. Wonder what OP's beef with it is.

Its on the AUR, though.
>>59819718
can't find it
>>59819649
no they don't.
pacman is a fucking joke compared to a real package manager with a proper SAT solver for faster dependency resolution
fuck. DNF, zypper, nix, and portage are all far better from a technology standpoint than pacman
I guess it's just me, I can't get the AUR to work for some reason
>Not compiling your own packages
Portage master race

Hold up. Literally the only reason to use Manjaro is because of pacman. It's a pre-riced Arch.
Just install Debian. Since you have shit taste in package managers, you'll love apt. And usually at the time of install, you can pick a DE like XFCE to install automatically. Shouldn't be too hard to theme it to look like it did on Manjaro.

Xubuntu is what you want.

Since you lack the intelligence to even type 13 characters into google, I recommend windows.

That was really mean. For some reason my DNS or maybe my hosts file is blocking aur.archlinux.org so I literally don't have access to it.
