/g/ how do you usually solve the username issue? that is, everything is fucking taken because you have a basic bitch name
of course a common fix is to add a suffix. like anon_420blazeit or anon_1337
but all i can think of is gay as hell. what does /g/ do?
>>59801604
>but all i can think of is gay as hell
And there's your problem.
Many closet gays have this problem.
You are not alone, OP.
Username: firstname_lastname

>basic bitch
saying basic bitch is actually being a basic bitch
>all i can think of is gay as hell.
OP confirmed faggot
>>59801747
2 real
Come up with something original and simple without numbers, you fucking cuck. It's really not hard.
_() { shuf -n 1 /usr/share/dict/words | sed "s/'s$//; s/.*/\l&/"; }; PS1="\[\e[1;31m\]$(_)\[\e[m\]@\[\e[1;35m\]$(_)\[\e[m\]\$ "
>>59801783
>OP confirmed faggot
such a basic bitch comment
>>59801787
not hard? fine, give a single good example
something original which is not autistic/cheesy/pretentious is not easy to come up with
>>59801783
By confirming OP as a faggot you are being a basic bitch as well
>>59801802
>>59801817
fuck
does our hivemind make us basic bitches as well?
>>59801816
>being this picky about a stupid handler
Neck yourself, you fucking autistic faggot
>>59801604
If someone else has already taken a username you typed in, then you're not being creative enough.
>>59802602
enlightening comment, thank you
My name is never taken.
>>59802602
this
>>59801604
i have no online identity. pic related. we forgive, we almost always forget, expecto patronum
With numbers and letters their are an infanite number of possibilities
>>59801604
Randomly generated names. Who cares of its something clever. Any random string works fine
>>59801794
>PS1
WHY.dll
>How do we solve it
Remove inactive accounts
>>59803383
B-but how do we inflate our numbers then?
>>59801604
just make something up. i have a different name for every service, and i've never used numbers or other gay shit once.
>>59801604
Coming up with usernames is easy, just add numbers
My username is an obscure reference to a Dutch painter from the 1600s so I've never had any problems.
Idk, be more original?
>things I want to connect together
Use identical or very similar usernames. Mine's not taken most of the time so that's nice, otherwise play around with underscores or hyphens or camelcase.
>Other sites, that I don't want to link to any of my online identities
Either keyboard mashing, or a randomly generated alphanumeric string, or whatever gay shit pops into my head at the moment
>something original which is not autistic/cheesy/pretentious is not easy to come up with
...Yes? Most usernames are more or less something like that.
It really depends on the context. If I'm like registering to play a game, it can be SeroquelSoldier or whatever. It doesn't matter. If it's a more official thing, I just make something out of my real names.
>>59802953
Not unless the password field is of infinite length.
>>59801604
> OP concerned about uniqueness
use a uuid for your username duh
>>59801604
>>>/sqt/
I just use my mac address and memorize it
>>59804936
Why do you do this? It's not even remotely funny.
>>59801604
Take your lowercase initials and covert to hexadecimal for a nice unique 6 character username
>>59801794
This is hilarious
>>59804964
It's actually really funny
>>59801794
I actually do part of this.shuf -n 12 /usr/share/dict/words
I repeat until I find something in there I like.
>>59806274
reshot.enamelwork
rustic.subproofs
nonapparent.mistutoring
I got 3 I like on the very first try. Though, obviously I'm far lazier and more uninspired in my actual choice.
I got so lazy I just use whatever hexadecimal number I think of at that moment
g-d bless password managers
