How do i solve this dumb new youtube notification?

Stop using YouTube's ancillary features. You can use services like Feedly to track new video postings. The native notification system has always been a combination of unreliable and awfully designed.

This new design is cancer. I cannot remove notifications from there, neither can I reply from that notification menu. When i click the replies it takes me to video page and I have to scroll down in comments to find that particular comment to reply
