Good luck getting into CMU
Do you live in a state that isn't flyover as fuck?
Chances are good that your state university is "good enough" for CS.

Stanford, Berkeley, San Jose state, Cal tech and maybe MIT.
San Jose might be the best if you can get in because you don't have to be that smart but since it is right in the valley it is easier to get a job.

Stanford and MIT because of their prestige, I'm sure they're fucking great. But U Penn is the best right now, based on their program/ongoing projects/staff.

Honestly, go to a fucking party school. Every CS program is the same and the most important skill is still to know how to socialize and act like a normal person.
You piece of shit

MIT comes to mind
UCSD/CAL GTECH

If you want to be a good programmer, learn programming in college and do actual projects outside of your school work.
Fuck, people think they'll be a better programmer because of the school they went to. I've seen undergrads already making money out of programming part time that don't give a shit about their grades as long as they pass.
Boston College for the parties
I'm going to Tsinghua next year, any thought?
Anyone have any knowledge about how hard it is to enter a master program at a uni like Stanford as a foreigner?
Also any knowledge about how hard it is at the top unis compares to something like San Jose. My friend went to SJ, it seemed quite laxed compares to what I am used to.
