What is it about wait?
It has been fine and usable for some time.

I don't use linux so I don't have any particular thoughts about it.

What are it's benefits?
Lincuck only. Maybe slightly better than X, but that doesn't say a lot.
You could've used rio or inferno's wm or something and this is what you chose?

yeah i'll never understand why there's no effort to port plan 9 stuff over, especially considering that it's now GPL
It's out, fully functional, and very good.

Actually just want to know more about it before bothering with it.
Support seems largely focused on GNOME and Fedora is the only distro I know so far that uses it.
Also, does shit like hardware affect performance comparisons with X?
A lot of claims about how Wayland is better, but I'm using a potato laptop and want shit that /just werks/
When is the Wayland-Yutani fork?

>no screen tearing
>GNOME is smooth as butter
Pretty based. There's nothing to really comment on, honestly. I doubt that anyone on /g/ is really involved in it in such a way that they can comment on its codebase or similar.
