Actually just want to know more about it before bothering with it.

Support seems largely focused on GNOME and Fedora is the only distro I know so far that uses it.

Also, does shit like hardware affect performance comparisons with X?
A lot of claims about how Wayland is better, but I'm using a potato laptop and want shit that /just werks/
