>>59781757
Defense in depth.
>>59781757
What is the antivirus you speak of?
Sincerely,
t.mactoddler
>>59781757
Virustotal
>>59781757
Anything as long as you have Malwarebytes go with it and its' not called AVG.
>>59781757
Antivirus is for plebs
>>59781757
It's called Linux
Terry Bless?
I'm deciding whether to go with Kaspersky or Bitdefender.
You guys got any experience with those? Would you recommend?
>>59781757
Comodo. It just werks, plus the CIA hate it.
>>59781992
>Western botnet vs Russian Botnet
Windows Defender.
Don't do dumb shit on the internet.
>>59782009
Source?
>>59781757
Kaspersky. Everything else is placebo and a waste of CPU time. Just use Common Sense Enterprise Edition 2017 if you don't have Kaspersky.
>>59781757
Kaspersky, Avast or Eset. Or you can not be a fucking idiot and know what you are clicking on and downloading when you browse and not have to rely on any of the above.
>>59781757
Norten is based
avera and kesparsky too
>>59781992
I use Bitdefender Free with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free and I've never had a single problem in the year I've had this computer AT ALL.
Bitdefender free runs in the background so quietly that you often forget it's even there.

>>59782352
I blame the /pol/ for this.
>>59782217
Thanks for the picture
Common Sense 2k+17
Avast has protected me many times from weird shit.
Also the "don't do bad things on the internet/don't click on things you don't know" doesn't always help. Avast blocked a nasty virus on a legitimate and supposedly safe clearnet website.
>>59781757
common sense
>>59781992
I use Kaspersky if I'm ever away from my computer for an hour it does a rootkit scan and it's annoying because it slows everything down
>>59782148

Sorry to let you in on a secret, but all antivirus companies are forced to support WHITELISTS.
QWERTY detection rate: 0.
>>59781757
Viper is bretty gud
Antivirus are outdated. The best defense is to use a non-admim user.

What's /g/s opinion on combofix?
ESET.
