Currently using the dank method to deal with it since I'm waiting for therapy
Dank method? I have same question as you btw.

1) Don't sit in front of a computer all day. Go outside, do some sports or at least visit parks. Your mind needs the sunshine.
2) Keep things seperated. Programming is a profession, just like being a carpenter, nothing more.
3) Seek people to communicate (yes, IRL). Even if you feel retarded, just try to speak to people. You'll get better with it, but only if you try.
4) If you want to become a good programmer, avoid image boards and gaymes. Really. At most 1 hour per day, and I literally mean 60 minutes.

>if you want to be good at programming
Well you certainly can't keep it as just a profession then. Artists can't have that attitude so why would programmers be able to?
That said being sort of OK at programming puts you ahead of a lot of people. So it's not a necessity for getting a job or anything.
I have the same issues op does. I don't know how to solve it but I've done everything you suggest for years and it doesn't help. I'm not saying op shouldn't try of course. General advice works for a majority of people and I'm sure if he feels even a slight improvement he will be a little bit satisfied.
Exercise has proven to encourage neurogenesis and produce endorphins that help ease depression. I'd start with that

Every programmer has depression, but it is not because the world suck it's because programming sucks.
If you can't handle the insanity that is life then don't program it's almost worse at times.
