I got this laptop for free a little while back, can't complain. Just had to load an operate system and swapped out the dying HDD for an SSHD. I'd like to add a 4GB stick of RAM (6GB total) but used DDR2 is too expensive for such a casual usage machine. I'll just wait until I find a good deal on Craigslist.

For some reason, Speccy is way underestimating my GPU memory. I checked with GPU-Z and it's showing the accurate 11GB memory though.

I actually didn't even think about that got too excited about upgrading everything to look into other solutions I guess. Not to mention the i5 2500k could've been a bottleneck to the 1080 ti especially at 1440p / 144hz.

The 1060 replaced my HD6950, it does what I need it to do, I don't really need to push any more out of it.
