Qbittorrent since it has a torrent search engine.

let me know when it can select and deselect individual files.

been using tixati lately, just because my connection is trash, but either is good. deluge is a little more performant.

people use that?

I remember being super excited for this once I finally installed ubuntu on my craptop.

Jesus fucking christ I don't think i've ever been so let down before in my life.

It has made browsing torrent sites obsolete.

Qbit searchbar has literally never failed me once
>>

qbittorrent
can handle more torrents than deluge
plus it has rss ootb
and 64-bit version for windoze
>>

Shitty bait. You always could
>>
>>59761231
is deluge opensource? google didnt give me a clear answer

Both use libtorrent and are thus garbage.

Transmission, KTorrent, and rTorrent are the only clients worth using.
>>
>>59761231
server client model is pretty dope on deluge
>>
>>59761231
Well it seems STALLEDtorrent fixed the high CPU usage at idle that Deluge still suffers from. They still haven't fixed the STALLING issue, though.
>>
>>59764041
Yeah, you can install it through apt

Deluge since qstall doesn't perform as well for me. Tixati performed well last i used it. Transmission looks decent.
>>
>>59764219
>Transmission, KTorrent, and rTorrent are the only clients worth using.

You have no idea what are you talking about.
>>
i have about 200 torrents active on deluge
theres a memory leak though
it starts off at around 350MB ram usage
a week later its well over 2.5GB
i really want to switch to qbit but i cant be bothered to add every single torrent and their paths manually
>>
Hope this is okay to ask:

Why do unselected files still pop up when downloading magnet links with qBittorrent? IS there away to get this to stop happening?
>>
I am using only usable torrent client which is utorrent 2.2.1
>>
>>59765189
>Why do unselected files still pop up when downloading magnet links with qBittorrent?
I think I had it happen even when I download the .torrent files. Probably it has something to do with how qbittorrent deals with the packages sent?
>>
>>59765189
>>59765209
it's hiw libtorrent works, it downloads data in chunks so you pretty much always end up with shit you don't want
>>

Well, shit. Thanks for the info.

But Transmission does that.

Deluge is piss poor.
I can't download a ~100GB torrent with it and it causes several file system errors on both windows and linux which means their filedb handling is poor. Even doubt if deluge is being maintained atm.

qb just works, I prefer to use the built-in torrent search engine and auto add tracker list. I had 280 torrents with some torrents containing thousands of files in my qb and yet never experience memory leaks, CPU/RAM usage is also little.

I'd recommend qtransmission for starters but last I checked qtransmission couldn't handle those ~100GB torrents.
>>
>>59761231

QBittorrent
>>
>>59761231
at first I was a deluge user but one day it became quite unstable, with lag and torrents did not start to download. I went to qbittorrent and never went back, very stable and the search engine is pretty useful since in one search you get results from many torrent sites.
>>
>>59761231
desu i just use whichever i could be bothered installing on whatever device im using, however i specifically use deluge for watching videos whilst torrenting them

I use to use QbitTorrent, no complaints it was waaaay better than uTorrent which is what I was using prior.

Now I just use ruTorrent, since it's a default program on my seedbox.

I'm not making it up though, it's literally the only reason I switched to Qbittorrent, since you can bind traffic to an interface with the click of a button.
>>
qBittorrent.

Because i didn't have to wait 1.5 years in 2015 for it to update like i did for Deluge, as qB updates regularly.

qBittorrent.

Sad that for some reason it doesn't upload at full speed but downloads at full speed. Light, search engine, 64bit, etc.

Doesn't stall at all. If yours is, check the log and rectify whatever issue you have.

This is true. It's really bad for private trackers.

Deluge's webUI is better, if you're planning on using it on a server.
