Sublime 3 is my editor of choice on my local machine but I do have to access remote boxes so I use VIM also.

Figure out a project that interests you and build it.

When I was starting out I created an image sharing website that all my friends could use. I ended up showing this project in interviews and it helped me get the job I'm currently in.

I want to make a website that upon hitting a submit button runs a script that connects to a bluetooth speaker. However, I am running into trouble importing third party libraries. GAE doesnt let me import sh or pexpect for example.
