today when building my pc i broke one of the usb 3.1 pins. on the photo its the "ID" pin on other photos its called "ground" pin. does the usb 3.0 still work or will i toast my computer if i try using this?

Without ID it probably won't work and without ground it will work but you run the risk of frying anything you plug into the USB ports
