I compiled it all on my T420/i5 2520m. Actually the whole plasma 5 suite compiles in around 6 hours (around 400 packages). I also am retarded enough to compile chromium which takes 7 hours, but you can use binary package if you want. Every computer is able to run gentoo, it is only matter of time at initial installation.
