This is just a rumour to get people to upgrade to 10. Microsoft even say that extended support ends in 2025:

Sorry to say this, but once the snowball has rolled, you better pack warm..
In all of seriousness though, it would take a lot of effort and loss of revenue from Microsoft's side.
Do keep in mind that they 'sell' all of their user's information to other marketing companies.
Whether the above is a fact or just a superstition, is a whole another question though. So practically, it's better to assume the worst case scenario straight off the bat, than 'hoax' everything.

Retard, it's all about Win10 different builds. Wouldn't be surprised if first build gets support till 2025 because you know, enterprise users and so on, but you wouldn't even think of that because you belong on /v/ or some other shitty board full of retards

We already have LTSB 2015 with support till 2025 and LTSB 2016 *and Server 2016) with support till 2026. The consumer versions of these builds (1507 and 1607) won't get support till that day, only LTSB editions.

This. Service Packs have always had different end of life/support dates. No reason why W10 couldn't do the same with builds or update packs or whatever they call those.

You're retarded. That lifecycle is for the RTM build that Enterprise LTSB users can use currently.
Look on the right sidebar on the Wikipedia article, it sums it up nicely: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_10

If this is true it may be an attempt for MS to get rid of all the legacy compromises that have crippled Windows.
Imagine a Windows without all that x86 crap and DOS compatibility. A Windows built from the ground up to run in more than 640k.
