It's true. The real improvement comes from having different sources of input that work in different ways, but can work by themselves. Why can't I have minimalism and comfiness? I've got a pretty clean desk but I feel comfy in my own home no matter what my desk looks like.

I prefer to lean more toward minimalism. It makes upkeep easier. Less shit to maintain and it's easier to keep clean. You pay the price for comfy clutter down the road, unless you want to live like a slob.

I'm saving up for a new desk to be a bit more minimalistic, although I'll still definitely have stuff other than my computer. This hand me down corner desk is terrible, I can barely fit a standard keyboard and mouse.
