well, we know fbi wanted apple to put a backdoor in ios. apple refused, and later fbi needed to hack into a phone (due to florida gay club shooting i think) asked help from apple, apple refused again. so fbi struggled for couple of weeks to hack the phone.

Xiaomi, Huawei and other Chinese phones. They have a Chinese backdoor but the Chinese government doesn't have bases in 120 countries and doesn't kill people around the world. They also only care about their own people and as long as you're not a Chinese dissident you're of no interest to them.
