Hey /g/, i'm having a problem here. For some reason, my Ti-84 CE will turn on but only displays a blank white screen. I can only adjust brightness and turn it off, nothing else displays. I've also tried deleting the OS and updating it.
Anything I should try?

Loose cable

install gentoo
Lick the dirt, grime, and cum from in between the buttons with your tongue. Then perform a hard reboot.

i know you're just messing around but is there a hard reboot? I've done every method of Reset plus button combinations.

Oh. I was hoping for something new. Tried all of these.

TI are the biggest fucking jews, can't be content with selling 3 decades old tech at full price. Now they have to sell you some fancy modern thing that doesn't do anything more than the old shit while having a lithium battery to fuck you over after a few years. A normal TI-84 plus is more desirable than any of the new shit TI puts out

Are you still under warrenty?

So what you're saying is, I should just buy the standard TI-84 then? Because basically, my calculator is fucked now

I got it from a friend. He didn't buy a warrant for it when he gave me it
If you're going to buy a calculator from the last decade at least get one that isn't a piece of shit.

Why not just use your phone?

This is what happens when you standardize something
>>59746039
I don't use my phone much other than the basic stuff. I'm also not a big fan of a touch screen calculator.

If you are in college/school that requires a TI-84 or variant just get the normal 84 Plus, no reason to go any fancier than that. If I had to pick a calculator for myself I'd get an TI-89 which is a sane version of the TI-92

Thanks for the recommendation. Any store I can find it at or is it something I have to order?

The TI-84 you can get at almost any Walmart, if you get it used you can save $20-40 depending on condition. got my 84 for $98 at Walmart, price matching on there own site.
