Should you edit your comment to gibberish before deleting it on r e d d i t?

You killed a thread for this crap, OP.
Please drink Haitian blood.

The reason I'm asking is because some userscripts called "r e d d i t shredders", that are supposed to delete your post history, usually edit your comments to random strings before hitting the delete button. What gives? What's the point? I mean obviously reddit keeps a log of every single comment edit, right? So who are we fooling with this?

I read somewhere that they do not keep a log of edits, but that they do keep a log of every comment before deleting, and especially that some search engines can find those, no idea how, and plebbit does not show a lot about things like this.

>they do not keep a log of edits
Yeah right. I mean, why wouldn't they?

c'mon m80, like I said:

so don't trust 'em
No, that's not necessary. Just kill yourself and it's all good.

why do you need to delete a reddit post and shred the evidence? You should go somewhere else for loliclub. did you sign up with a legit email? Are you sharing actual personal details on twitreddichanbooker?
